Working closely with strategic partners, CIT has developed a range of inkjet-printable etchants for initial nitride patterning on crystalline silicon solar cells. Non-contact nitride etching coupled with emerging processes for doping and metallisation is leading to enhanced yields and efficiencies in this highly expanding technology area.
